ITINERARY :

Day I: Arrival Entebbe International Airport – Kampala

Meet and greet at Entebbe Airport by your selected Driver Guide. Transfer to Kampala the Capital City of Uganda. Arrival and Check in at your Hotel. Dinner at Selected Restaurant Kampala (Own Expense) Overnight at Hotel Africana Kampala (Mid-Range)

Day 2: Kampala – Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park Morning: Breakfast at the Lodge. Depart Kampala in the early morning and drive northwards for Masindi. Stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to enjoy a walking safari while trekking Rhinos in the wild. Stop over for Lunch at a selected restaurant en-route.

Afternoon: Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Visit the Top of Murchison Falls to feel the powerful fall thunder through a 7 metre gorge. Proceed to cross the river Nile by ferry at Paraa. Enjoy an evening game drive on your way to check in at your lodge (Full Board). Overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge (Mid- Range).

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park – Game drive – Boat Cruise

Morning: After an early breakfast enjoy a game drive through the scenic Northern Route to the shores of Albert Nile. Explore the amazingly high concentration of game. In search of Lions, expect to see many Giraffes, large herds of buffaloes, Kobs, water bucks, and Elephants. Return to the lodge for relation. Lunch at your Lodge.

Afternoon: At 2PM enjoy the boat cruise safari to the bottom of the falls. A boat cruise upstream to the bottom of the falls is amongst the unforgettable experience the park has to offer giving the opportunity to view elephants, groups of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, lions, and an abundance of bird life. This boat cruise offers typical African safaris experience where you get to enjoy close-up encounters with the animals in the wild!

Evening: Relax at the lodge or go swimming at the lodge’s pool. Return to your

Lodge while spotting more wild life on your way to the lodge. Overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge (Mid- Range)

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park – Fort Portal Morning; Breakfast at the Lodge. Depart the northern side of Murchison falls National Park for Kibale National Park driving through the scenic country side of Masindi, Hoima and Fort Portal. Stop over for Lunch at selected restaurant in Hoima town.

Afternoon; Proceed to Fort Portal town arriving late evening in time for. Check in & Dinner at the Hotel. Overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel (Mid-range)

Day 5: Kibale National Park – Chimp Trekking -Queen Elizabeth National Park Morning: Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer to Kanyanchu Park headquarters for registration and briefing for Chimp trekking. With your park ranger guide, go for Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest. Enjoy Lunch at selected restaurant. Afternoon: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive in time for evening Game drive in Kasenyi Area in search of Lions, buffaloes and elephants.

Evening: Proceed to check in at the Lodge in time for Dinner. Overnight at Enganzi Lodge (High end).

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game Drive and Boat Cruise Morning: At 6:00am enjoy breakfast at the Lodge and depart for a Morning Game Drive in search of Lions expect to see herds of buffaloes, Elephants water bucks, lots of Uganda Kobs and on a lucky day spot the elusive leopard. Proceed to drive through the scenic crater explosion areas enjoying amazing scenery created by the volcanic eruptions of the Ruwenzori mountain rangers. Arrive in time for Lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge Kazinga Restaurant by the poolside.

Afternoon; After lunch go for the breathtaking Boat Launch on Kazinga Channel. Expect to see lots of animals and many varieties of birds at a close range. The boat safari starts at 14:00hours and ends at about 16:00hours.

Evening: Return to the Lodge for relaxation & Dinner. Overnight at Enganzi Lodge (High end).

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park- Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Morning; Enjoy an Early breakfast at the lodge. (Your Driver Guide may recommend Packed lunch depending on the days travel plan). Depart Queen Elizabeth National Park via Imaramagambo Forest to Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is famous for Tree climbing Lions. Enjoy the Ishasha Sector Game drive through the National Park.

Afternoon; Packed Lunch from the Lodge Or hot lunch at Restaurant in Kihiihi town. Proceed to Bwindi National Park Dinner at Lodge at around 5:30pm

Evening: Relax & enjoy Dinner at the Camp (Included). Overnight at The Haven Lodge a newly community built lodge with fantastic views of Bwindi Forest (Medium Range).

Day 8: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park- Gorilla Trekking

Morning; Enjoy your breakfast at the Lodge. Your guide will pick your packed lunch and mineral water for your take away during the Gorilla trekking adventure. Arrive at the field office for Briefing on Gorilla Trekking. Your Guide will register you for the days Gorilla trekking. Your passport copy will be needed to ensure the right names and address are registered as they will appear on your Gorilla Trekking Certificate.
Depart for the most incredible experience of a life time – Gorilla trekking with your specialized Gorilla Guide, park rangers and your porter to carry your back bag of your cameras, lunch and water. Each Gorilla family can be visited by a maximum number of 8 Persons. Depending on where your Gorilla Family stayed the previous night, the trekking exercise may take anywhere between 2~6 hours through impenetrable Forest.
You will spend 1 hour with the Gorillas taking photos and watching their feeding and movements in their natural environment. It’s a breathtaking, amazing and a memorable 1 hour experience of a lifetime! This is the highlight of your trip

Afternoon: Enjoy your packed Lunch in the Jungle from Lodge after Gorilla Trekking. Return to the Park headquarters for your Gorilla trekking graduation. You will receive certificates. This is a good time to ask any questions you may have about the Gorillas which will be by Park Officials.

Evening: Return to the lodge and relax. Optional village walk. Enjoy Dinner at Lodge. Overnight at The Haven Lodge a newly community built lodge with fantastic views of Bwindi Forest (Medium Range).

Day 9: Bwindi to Mbarara – Igongo Cultural Centre -Ankole Cow

Breakfast at the lodge. Depart Bwindi for Mbarara driving through Enengo gorge – an extension of the East African rift Valley. Enjoy scenic view of hills, cattle farms, tea and banana plantations among others.

Afternoon: Arrive in time for Lunch & check in at the restaurant. Complementary guided visit to the Igongo Cultural Centre & museum.

Evening: With the local guide drive to the cattle farm to discover the gorgeous Ankole long – horned cows returning to the Kraal and witness or even participate in the evening milking session!. Relax & Dinner at Selected restaurant in Kampala (Included) Overnight at Igongo Country Hotel (4 Star Country Hotel & cultural Centre)

Day 10: Mbarara – Kampala City Tour -Entebbe Outbound Flight

Morning: Breakfast at the Hotel. Depart for Kampala stopping over at Equator for Water Experiment. Take photos and do some craft shopping. Proceed to Kampala city arriving in time for lunch at selected restaurant.

Afternoon: If your flight is later in the evening, you will have time to visit Uganda Museum and the Uganda Cultural Village. You will be amazed by the interior and exterior of each of the traditional houses of 15 major tribes of Uganda. Visit Kasubi Tombs, a UNESCO heritage, where Buganda kingdom traditional leaders are buried.

Evening: Transfer to Entebbe Airport for your outbound Flight (KLM, Brussels, Turkish Airline. If your flight time permits, enjoy a home cooked dinner with a Ugandan Family OR a fresh Fish from and by the lake Victoria lakeside restaurant.

Q: Where Can I obtain a Uganda Tourist VISA:

A: You can obtain a VISA at your nearest Uganda Embassy or Consulate. You can also obtain a visa on arrival at the Airport Immigration office by paying $100- it’s easy and quick.

NOTE: A single Visa ($100) for 3 East African countries of Uganda, Rwanda & Kenya has been introduced effective 1st Jan 2014 and can be obtained at the nearest embassy of the 1st country of entry of your mul-ticounty trip.
