Robert Wambi -Head Guide

Robert was born on 30th/06/1975 in Buwenge Village- Jinja District to Mr. Wambi Robert Kimedhi and Mrs. Thabisa Mwenensiko. He went to Walukuba primary school. Robert did his O’ levels at Jinja SS and later trained with Queen Elizabeth National park in all departments under tourism. He specialized in customer care and guiding skills. Robert is married with five children.

Before tourism, Robert worked for two construction companies that is Arab Construction and Mugoya Construction Companies as a driver which enabled him to pay for his tourism training. Robert later joined Uganda Safari guides Association to add on his training at Queen Elizabeth National park.

Robert joined Green Leaf Travel for 1 year then African Runners Safari for 4 years and later worked at Destination Jungle Tours and travel for 2 years as a tour guide and driver.

Robert joined BIC Tours and Travel LTD as a head guide in 2009. Robert is experienced and practical in the tourism field.

Favorite Park : Murchison Falls National Park.

Favorite attractions : The Borusus Palm.

Favorite Animal :Leopard.

Coolest Wildlife Encounter :Watching Leopards under tree in Kazinga Channel.

Best Safari Experience :The channel track in Queen Elizabeth National park where we saw most of the major animals standing few meters from Mweya lodge [elephants, lions, 4 leopards 2cubs, and buffalos].

Dream Destination :Queen Elizabeth Country Park England.
