BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK Bwindi is 331 square kilometers and is located in South Western Uganda, on the edge of the western rift valley, shared by Kabale, Rukungiri and Kisoro Districts. It lies on an altitude range of 2607m (Rwamunyonyi peak)-1160m (Ishasha gorge).

Annual Temperature ranges from 7-20 degrees Celsius. Usually it’s cold during June- July rains heavily in March-April and September-November. The local people in this area are mainly Bakiga and Bafumbira, representing the most impenetrable settlements in Uganda, (233 people/ square kilometers).

Friday 1st April 2016 Day I: Depart Kampala for Bwindi:
Morning Volunteer work at Nyaka
At 2:00PM Depart Nyaka for Ruhija Bwindi National Park by private driver
Arrive at Ruhija Bakiga lodge by 06:00PM
Relax and Dinner at Lodge (Included)
Night Accommodation at Bakiga Lodge (F/B)

Saturday 2nd April 2016 Day 2: Bwindi National Park- Gorilla Trekking
Breakfast at the Lodge
Meet at Ruhija Park Office for Briefing on Gorilla Trekking
Gorilla trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Packed Lunch in the Jungle from Lodge after Gorilla Trekking (Included)
Transfer to the Lodge

Sunday 3rd April 2016 Day 3: Bwindi National Park- Lake Bunyonyi :
Have Breakfast at the Lodge

Driver returns to Nyaka via Kabale town.
